Four short weeks spent on Spectre's UI design for Vincent Studios, tackling big data, how it's collated and ultimately displayed.
As with all projects, a huge amount of reference was gathered and
analysed and whilst I had to move on to other commitments, working on the film with John and his team was as always, a pleasure.
Title treatment, art direction
Collaborating with Vincent Studios and Method, I art directed what is without a doubt every title designers dream, a sequence test for Spectre's main title.
After weeks of research looking into the core of Bond the man and Bond the franchise, a deck started to form itself. I focused on Bonds internal struggle with himself, whilst utilising modern techniques with an eye on the agents roots born from 60's minimal design.
Further weeks of R & D bore some arresting results. Ultimately, it wasn't to be though I loved every minute of the process and the production.
Maybe next time Mr Bond.
